How Much Is an Essay at Writers Per Hour?
An essay at Writers Per Hour costs from $7.99 per page: the price of one double-spaced page of 250 words, set by your academic level, your deadline and the service — writing from scratch or editing a draft you already have. With the one-time code Onetime15, the same page costs $6.79. The total of an order is the price per page times the number of pages, plus any writer category or extra service you choose, minus a promo code or personal discount.
Price per Page by Academic Level and Deadline
The price per page rises with the academic level and falls as the deadline gets longer. A High School page due in 30 days costs $7.99, the lowest rate for writing from scratch; a Ph.D. page due in 3 hours costs $51.99, the highest.
Deadlines run from 3 hours to 31 days. The tables list the most common deadlines; for a deadline between two of them, the price per page falls between their rates, and the quote form gives the exact figure.
How Many Words Are in a Page
The price per page is the price of one double-spaced page of 250 words. A single-spaced page holds about 550 words and is priced as two pages.
What counts as a page
- 250 words = 1 page
- Single-spaced = 2 pages
- 1 slide = ½ page
PowerPoint slides can be added to every paper type.
What the Price per Page Includes
The price per page already covers the parts every academic paper needs, so nothing on this list is added to the total:
- A Best Available writer — the writer category with no surcharge
- A title page and a reference list or bibliography
- Formatting in APA, MLA, Chicago or Harvard style
- Free revisions for 30 days after delivery when the paper misses your original instructions
New or changed instructions after the order is placed are not covered by a free revision.
What Adds to the Price
Two kinds of choices raise the total. A writer category adds a percentage to the base price of pages and slides: Subject-Matter Expert adds 25% and Top 10 Writer adds 35%.
Extra services are either a fixed price or a percentage of the base price. An Early Draft adds 15% and needs a deadline of at least 2 days. Extended Revision adds 5% and extends free revisions to 60 days. The list above shows every category and extra service with its current price.
Writing or Editing: Which Rate Applies
Writing from scratch is priced for a paper a writer creates from your instructions. Editing is priced for a draft you already have; it has its own table above.
Choose Editing when you check your order details in the order form, or read more about the paper editing service. Presentations are priced by slide package on the order form, not per page.
How to Calculate the Price of Your Order
You can work out the total of an order in five steps, the same way the order form does:
Find the rate
- Academic level
- Deadline
- Writing or Editing
Count the pages
- Double-spaced pages
- Single-spaced pages × 2
- Slides × ½
Add the writer category
- Best Available: included
- Others: + a percentage
Add extra services
- A fixed price
- Or a percentage
Take off a discount
- Promo code or personal discount
- Off the base price
The quote form above runs these steps for any combination and shows the breakdown line by line.
How Discounts Lower the Price
The one-time promo code Onetime15 takes 15% off the base price of one order — pages and slides — but not off the writer category or extra services.
Regular clients get a personal discount after five completed orders, and it applies automatically. A personal discount and a promo code never add up: the order gets the larger of the two.
Read how discounts and promo codes work, including how to keep a personal discount.
When You See the Final Total
The order form shows the full total, with every surcharge and discount, on its summary step before you pay. You enter a promo code there, sign in or create an account without losing your progress, and complete the payment through a secure Stripe checkout.
Every step from the first details to the finished paper is described in how to order.
