I grew up in an environment around business people; therefore, I had no choice but to follow suit and become one. I have witnessed my family members, relatives, and friends ascend the ladder of success, and others experience challenges, almost leading to failure. The lesson learned from the various events that I saw was that the significant factor contributing to success is the management of funds available.
The experiences I underwent led me to believe that the significant theory to the success of a business is financial management. Therefore, drove me to choose a business-related course for my degree program at the university level. I enrolled in accountancy when applying for my degree program. Since then, my life changed for the best as I was enriched with analytical capabilities and accountancy skills necessary for survival in the business world.
I managed to develop in thinking capacity from experience gained from the degree program. It developed me as an individual as I developed perseverance, patience, and determination that led to the achievement of excellence in my endeavors. My professionalism was boosted as I gained communication skills creativity and managed to learn how to think critically. It is the acquired data that changed my life’s perception. The accounting degree program unfolded information on the various concepts the business world entails. The knowledge I acquired fueled to relating the success and failures of my friends and relatives in the industry thus helping in problem-solving techniques.
After completion of my accounting degree program, I worked as an accountant at AON Minet Company for two years. I was then transferred to the auditing department because of my accountancy skills. With time and growing capabilities, I was promoted to senior-most audit officer in the company where I was in charge of some of the notable clients.
I enjoyed working as an audit officer that exposed me more to the business and accounting field. Also, interacting more in the business world, which enhanced my interpersonal skills instead of operating behind a desk which was my daily routine previously.
Knowledge and learning never ends, therefore, pushing me to achieve higher academic proficiency in my career by taking up an MBA. With an MBA program, I would be able to acquire better accountancy skills and technical knowledge about the business world and activities. I would also be able to gain satisfaction and achieve promotion up to the highest level there is in the accountancy field. Additionally, it would assist me in smoothening my career path as well, therefore, allowing me to achieve the highest proficiency in my specialized skills of accountancy.
This personal satisfaction would lead me to the acquisition of the highest position existing in the industry. Moreover, I will be able to gain much information as well as exposure and opportunities enabling in the accountancy field. I will also learn more about the industry and the academics required for the personal enrichment of my business career. I also believe the knowledge from school is essential for the acquisition of the best understanding of the activities of the business world, leading to the success and failure of the businesses. I also believe that school XXXX is the best venue and place to grow further as a professional and assist me in reaching the top.
